Color Craftsmen are solutionists.   We offer two kinds of solutions: practical and aesthetic.  Our practical solutions range from matching different types of wood grains to using products which can be installed over the existing surface, keeping the cost down.  Our aesthetic solutions revolve around matching the exact look that our clients want, no matter how impossible it seems.

Founded in 2006 by John Bubenik, Color Craftsmen is a small company seeking to provide our customers with the colors they want, the way they want them.  Specializing in plasters, metallic paints, specialty cements, and various other products, we will achieve the look you want.  We are a small company willing to meet your needs.

 

• Designated as an Applicator of Italian Plasters by the School of Italian Plasters, San Diego, CA, and the Decoration Academy, Villafranka, Italy.
• Certified in Decorative Concrete Overlayments & Epoxy Flooring Systems by Crossfield Products Corporation.
• Certified as Applicator by JaDecor, the German maker of troweled-on cotton fiber wall treatments, Omaha, NE, and a similar product, Pavarti, Atlanta, GA.
• Completed training for Aura Tops 1 & 2, at the Aurastone Training Facility, Miama, FL.
• Holds a certificate for successful completion of the Premier Overlayments, Faux & Countertops Class by Architectural Enhancements, Annandale, MN.
• Certified Applicator of ArmourCoat & Armour Color, Omaha, NE.
• Certified Applicator of ArcusStone Limestone Cladding, Orlando, FL.

 

In addition, Color Craftsmen have been involved in multiple hands-on training sessions with representatives from each of the following companies: Proceed Professional Decorative Painting System; Minerva Plasters; ArmourFaux; Faux Effects. We maintains professional relationships with numerous manufacturers and distributors of specialized products, including: Vahallen Papers, Inc, Wallteriors, Stoney Brook (Wallcoverings); Firenze Enterprises and Atova International (Plasters); Sepp Leaf Products (Gilding Supplies); Vertical Artisans (Suppliers of Carved Cement Products); Deco Finish and Modern Masters (Metallic and Specialty Paints and Plasters).

Color Craftsmen’s professional library includes more than 150 volumes dedicated to Wall Artistry, Faux Finishes, Decorative Enhancements and related topics.
